Saturday the 13th was a working day because last week everybody in Russia enjoyed four consecutive days off starting Thursday, the Day of National Unity. Not me - I was on a business trip that ended last Saturday.
So, today was mostly business as usual. Somewhat quite, understandably, on the international front.
Choosing top ten Web projects and companies in each category of the Runet (Russian Internet) Awards, I was surprised RIA Novosti's award-winning user-generated content portal YouReporter wasn't on the approved list of entries. Some phone calls and a tweet later it occurred there had been a glitch on the awards website.
Couldn't help but notice the more interesting projects are based around original content, not aggregated.
